About Shades & Tints

Shades are a color's mixture with black, and tints are its mixture with white. Enter a base color, and choose the number of steps, to generate the set of shades and tints.

How to copy the colors

The Export button in the top-right outputs the colors in the following formats:

1. URL for sharing or retrieving your work later
2. SVG for use in design programs like Sketch and Illustrator. This option downloads a file, which can then be imported into your program of choice.
